Under intense political and economic pressure, and in a fight for their own survival, “Big Oil” is being forced to prepare for a low-carbon, or at least, a “lower carbon” future. Panic over how to survive the “climate change agenda” has become a focal point in the boardrooms of Exxon Mobil, Chevron, BP, Shell and other international oil companies.
One of the most pressing strategies is to come up with additives that extend fuel milage while “capturing carbon” in a variety of indirect and direct ways. Transforming waste plastic into an energy source instead of burying it in landfills is not a novel idea. Unfortunately, EPA is reluctant to admit that emissions from recently approved recycled plastic based fuel additives have the potential to cause cancer in nearly everyone who is exposed to them. EPA regulators claim that concerns about increased cancer rates are overblown and that the trade off for disposing of waste plastic by adding it to fuel will lower our collective carbon footprint and achieve a modicum of “climate resiliency”.
Chevron says they are developing the new plastic additives for marine fuels and welcomed EPA’s approval. In response to the EPA’s endorsement of the products, several current and former EPA scientists said that the “threat level is unheard of. It is a million times higher than what the agency usually considers acceptable for new chemicals and six times worse than the risk of lung cancer from a lifetime of smoking.”
So why are these dangerous fuel additives being pushed through the approval process so quickly and without the normal level of scientific scrutiny? The International Maritime Organization’s environmental regulations controlling emissions of SOx, NOx and Greenhouse Gases (GHG) are forcing the global shipping industry away from reliance on heavy fuel oils. President Biden himself has called for an all out war on so-called, “green house gas” emissions and has promised that the United States will have a zero-emissions electric grid by 2035 and will be a 100% carbon-neutral nation by 2050. To accomplish his tyrannical climate agenda, Biden has placed hundreds of young die-hard climate activists into positions of power within dozens of our most influential regulatory agencies, including the EPA.

Of course by 2050, if the Biden administration’s climate policies are not reversed, including approval of these toxic marine fuel additives, the nation will be much sicker and our cancer wards will be overflowing. But don’t worry. By 2050 there will be even more pressing problems than fighting cancer. The economy will be in shambles and the homeless population will likely dwarf what it is now. According to Klaus Schwab, President of the World Economic Forum, those who survive the “Great Reset” will be happy to own nothing. As for the global elite, well, they will still be able to fly across the planet on their alternatively fueled private jets in order to attend those cushy private functions on their fleets of cancer spewing yachts.
As for the rest of us, buckle up, it’s going to be a very rough ride.
