Mention vaccines and you’re sure to get some strong opinions. Mention government mandates for vaccines, and you better be prepared for a fight!
Regardless of your own personal opinion about vaccines or government mandates, (pro, con, ambivalent, etc.), its a safe bet that when a COVID-19 vaccine does become available there will be millions of people lining up to receive it.
We can predict with near certainty that all Federal and State health authorities are going to recommend COVID-19 vaccination. Legislatures in many states may actually pass laws mandating vaccination. There is no doubt in my mind that such legislation will pass quite easily here in Washington state where philosophical or personal objections to government mandated vaccination have already been eliminated.
According to the World Health Organization, there are currently forty-four COVID-19 vaccine candidates in the research and/or development stage. Two of those candidates, Moderna’s mRNA-1273 and CanSino’s adenoviral vector vaccine are already in clinical trials.
As each manufacturer sprints through the research, testing, production, marketing and distribution phases of their products, consumers will be facing a monumental decision that could challenge our views on morality, personal responsibility, cultural ethics, and, depending on the outcome, may even chart the course of our eternal destiny. If you don’t give a damn about corporate ethics, or where, how and why a particular product is made, than this article is not for you. For those who do care, please read on.
Sanofi Pasteur is the specialized vaccines division of the French mega-corporation Sanofi. Headquartered in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Sanofi Pasteur has developed over 20 patented vaccines to combat a variety of diseases, including influenza and SARS. The division has 14 research and development and/or production facilities scattered around the world, including five here in the United States. Sanofi Pasteur’s previous work on multiple vaccines, including the SARS vaccine, has inspired confidence that this company may have a leg up on the competition especially since SARS is a zoonotic coronavirus very similar to COVID-19.
Sanofi Pasteur is currently using a recombinant DNA technology that involves inserting the genetic information for the COVID-19 virus directly into insect cells, which are then harvested and purified. According to John Shiver, PhD, Senior Vice President, Vaccines Global R&D at Sanofi, “The technology produces an exact genetic match to proteins found on the surface of the virus. This technology could enable the introduction of a vaccine against COVID-19 much more quickly than would be the case with traditional vaccine production methods.”
Sanofi Pasteur, the vaccines global business unit of Sanofi, is leveraging previous development work for a SARS vaccine as part of our goal to unlock a fast path forward for developing a COVID-19 vaccine. Sanofi is collaborating with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, expanding the company’s longstanding partnership with BARDA. That partnership includes an agreement signed last year to establish state of the art facilities in the United States for the sustainable production of an adjuvanted recombinant vaccine for use in the event of an influenza pandemic and based on the same technology platform that will be used for the COVID-19 program.
Sanofi Pasteur has also begun partnering with another bio tech company, Translate Bio, to fast track the development of a possible second novel mRNA vaccine for COVID-19. Translate Bio is an American owned company based out of Lexington, Massachusetts. As of this writing, I have not been able to determine what type of cellular medium Translate Bio is using to create their version of the COVID-19 vaccine. In fact, until the final reports are submitted to the FDA, we won’t know for sure exactly how some of these vaccines are made.
Meanwhile, Massachusetts based Moderna, is also developing a COVID-19 vaccine called mRNA-1273. We do know that Moderna’s vaccine relies on something called a “Spike protein” which was developed using the cloned embryonic kidney cells of an aborted human fetus (HEK-293). The first clinical trial for mRNA-1273 was launched earlier this month at Kaiser Permanente Washington’s Health Research Institute in Seattle. A second clinical trial for Moderna’s vaccine has recently been initiated in Atlanta. Keep in mind that being the first to go to clinical trial does not necessarily mean that Moderna’s vaccine will be the most effective or the only option making it to market. Let’s hope not anyway.
The processes involved with the abortions preformed to obtain the original cell lines for vaccine development are documented in the scientific literature. The fetuses were removed from their mother’s womb and dissected without anesthesia while they were still alive in order to harvest the organs that contain the desired cells. The cell line involved in the development of the Moderna vaccine (HEK-293) was a female (based on the chromosomes). Like all the other cell lines “harvested” for vaccine production, “she” was removed from her mother’s womb and dissected while still living.
We applaud the many wonderful advancements in medical technology that have helped preserve and enhance our quality of life. While my family is cautious and judicious about vaccinations, medications and medical treatments, we are not “anti-vaxxers” by any stretch of the imagination. However, we strongly believe that each individual has the right to decide what medical treatments are, or are not, appropriate for themselves and their children.
“The use of fetal tissue from elective abortions is commonplace in the pharmaceutical industry and in medical research….Each medical benefit or scientific advance from the use of fetal tissue from elective abortions desensitizes beneficiaries, scientists, and doctors to the original evil act that produced these cells.”
As citizens and consumers, we are able to fulfill our wants and needs by making choices in the marketplace and at the ballot box. Making informed choices is the bedrock of what it means to be a responsible citizen. In order to make an informed choice, we must first have choices to make. An ignorant or misinformed citizenry, or a citizenry that has no choice, is the surest way to guarantee that our Republic will degenerate into tyranny. Fighting through ignorance and insuring that we maintain an array of viable choices is a tough task, especially when there are so many who benefit from obscuring the truth.

My family firmly believes that any individual or any nation that tries to justify the taking of human life for financial gain and/or the sake of convenience has no standing before God. The sacrifice of pre-born human beings in order to harvest their cells to use in the creation of any number of marketable products, including cosmetics, medicines and health care treatments, is inherently evil and barbaric.
We have been endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights, foremost among them is the right to life. We also have the right to demand that our medicines and vaccines be produced ethically and to refuse any that violate our conscience.
Pharmaceutical and bio-tech companies have proven they have the technology to create novel vaccines and medicines that are safe and effective without using the cloned cells harvested from the organs of aborted babies.
Yet numerous companies have made a choice to utilize human fetal cells obtained from a barbaric process that they falsely claim is borne out of necessity. We cannot allow liars, murderers, and thieves to earn a profit as they provide cover for the darkest deeds of the abortion industry. How can we condemn communist China for the practice of “harvesting” the organs of political prisoners while we ourselves are consuming products that were made using the tissues of aborted babies? We need to take the higher ground, and we need to do it now.
As for me and my house, we will NEVER choose to partake of, or willingly submit to, any medical treatment that employs such evil methodologies. Our reasoning is simple. Babies are not spare parts.

Vital information.
Thank you.
Johnson and Johnson has joined the abortion band wagon. Much beloved for their baby powder, J&J is now working on a vaccine for COVID-19 that utilizes yet another line of aborted fetal cells.

Mike Hanson is my husband’s name. He wants to do a research of companies using live aborted fetal cells. His email is #### Mine is below if his doesn’t work. We really appreciate your article. We have sent it to our church and our contact list. Thank you for answering me. Karen Hanson
Karen,
I would suggest starting with the https://cogforlife.org webpage as there are enough links and info there for years of study. The COG vaccine chart is a good place to start. You can also email Debi Vinnedge, address on the COG webpage. Debi searches the actual patents and has an extensive archive of links to document everything she writes. You can also research the scientific papers of those who developed some of the cell lines between 1964-73 such as Hayflick, Moorehead, Gard, Wistar Institute, etc. or search specific aborted fetal cell lines such as WI-38, MRC-5, HEK-293, etc. Please note: the most recent aborted fetal cell line was “harvested” in 2015…called Walvax II. Also see some history here: https://cogforlife.org/vaccines-abortions/ I would also suggest searching “immortal fetal cell lines” on your own and be sure to read what Hayflick says about them, basically says these older cell lines have a limit to how many times they can be cloned before harmful mutations makes them worthless. Also see Sound Choice Pharmaceuticals research on the residual human DNA and DNA fragments in these vaccines and how it could be causing all sorts of reactions. Yeah, lots to learn.
Karen,
Sorry for the long comment….but it’s NOT just the pharmaceutical companies that are using them….it’s the fact that ANYONE can go online and order these cell lines for any “legitimate” research purpose from a large number of vendors. Cloned aborted fetal cells (frozen) start at around $250 a batch. NOBODY actually knows how many companies are using them, and for what purpose. The number is likely in the thousands at least.
MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT INOVIO’s VACCINE
So the good news is that INOVIO Pharmaceuticals has produced a COVID-19 vaccine that, (according to proprietary technology patents), does NOT rely on aborted fetal cells for production. INOVIO’s advanced technology allowed them to produce a vaccine in a mere 3 hours after they received the COVID-19 genome.
At least two of INOVIO’s competitors, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson, are utilizing aborted human fetal cell lines to produce their vaccines.
The bad news is that much of INOVIO’s funding comes from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Yeah, there are a lot of reasons to criticize Bill Gates and question his motivation, but this new development is not one of them.
